Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection connects with your existing security camera system and analyzes the video content using one or several proprietary computer vision-based models. Based on predefined rules and settings, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection AI is designed to detect and alert for hazardous objects and actions that fall in the view of CCTV cameras. Depending on the use case and the architecture of the solution, the detections may be forwarded to a cascade of specifically tailored smart decision-makers for final confirmation. In an affirmative case, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection will send an alert with the detected frame and all additional information to the security team or designated staff.

 

HOW TO INSTALL DIGITAL EYE ™ REAL-TIME THREAT?

In case of cloud deployment, you will need to install a small connector software that will connect to your cameras and forward the streams to the corresponding cloud-hosted Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection instances. In case of on-premise installation, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection is either delivered pre-installed together with the hardware, or it can be deployed and configured by Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection Tech Support team once they are given remote access in one of the conventional scenarios (VPN is preferable). In either case, you will be provided detailed instructions as well as full guidance from Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection Technical Support in case of questions.

DO I NEED ANY EQUIPMENT TO INSTALL SCYLLA?

Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection runs on dedicated GPU-equipped servers. Other than that - it integrates with your existing security camera system, so no additional hardware is required.

The accuracy of each solution is carefully and meticulously measured and reported in the corresponding whitepapers. Moreover, based on AI technologies, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection models and algorithms also evolve and improve. Thus the reports are periodically repeated and updated.

 

DOES DIGITAL EYE ™ REAL-TIME THREAT RUN ON DRONES?

Being agnostic to moving backgrounds and having proprietary zoom-in tracking features incorporated in the detection algorithm, Scylla effectively runs on drones and portable cameras.

 

WHAT TYPE OF CAMERAS DO I NEED?

Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection modules are agnostic to camera makes and models. The solutions have their minimum requirements, of course. For instance, in most cases, your cameras should support digital output in one of the conventional streaming protocols (RTSP/RTMP/HTTP), have HD resolution, and 5-10 Frames per second imaging speed. Please refer to the minimum requirements provided with the module you are interested in.

 

WHAT VIDEO MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS DOES DIGITAL EYE ™ REAL-TIME THREAT WORK WITH?

The list of Video Management Systems with which Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection solutions has one- and two-way integration is constantly updated with new titles. At the moment, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection works with Milestone, Network Optix, Exacqvision, HikCentral, Eagle Eye, and Panasonic, to name a few.

 

WHAT DIGITAL EYE ™ REAL-TIME THREAT ANOMALY DETECTION AND BEHAVIOR RECOGNITION IS TRAINED TO DETECT?

The models that are currently used in production include detection of fight/violent behavior, smoke and fire, and suspicious behavior that can result in shoplifting. Stay tuned for new use cases to be released soon.

 

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH PRIVACY?

Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection does not store any data unless you decide to do so. Even if you switch on the data storage, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection will still store the data on your local network, so you are entirely in charge of your data.

 

HOW DO YOU IDENTIFY FACES?

Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection uses a proprietary Face Recognition model that outperforms state-of-the-art alternatives when compared by conventional benchmarking. With a “tracking and multiple assessment per person” approach, Digital Eye ™ Real-time Threat Detection provides industry-standard-level person identification accuracy.
